Alessandra & George’s E-Session

What an awesome way to finish another awesome weekend! Alessandra & George loved the Cedar Creek Estate images that i recently posted so much that they drove from Brissy to meet me there, for their engagement session.
The place is amazing, what an awesome discovery for this time of year.
For a couple who have never been professionally photographed before, and felt a little nervous, they were certainly naturals! I think it was just that they are so so in love, they are just so beautiful together & easy to photograph. I love seeing couple this happy, it makes you feel so good to see ๐Ÿ™‚
I tell my couples to try to ignore me and enjoy each other, and these two had no worries with that at all! It was so hard to chose my favorites, there are just sooo many awesome shots! I can’t wait until the wedding guys!! Just awesome ๐Ÿ™‚

Sofia’s Baptism

What a doll! My gosh, such a cutie, with the most amazing little dress. You can get children the most gorgeous little outfits! Leanne & Patrick have also had me photograph their pregnancy & got me back to capture Sofia’s first big event, her baptism. She was so good, the water being poured onto her head didn’t even make her cry.
After the service the family then went off the the beautiful Eve’s on the River for lunch. Check out this amazing cake! Wow. Thanks for having me there guys, it was a lovely celebration to be apart of!

Narina, Geoff & little Oscar

Meet Oscar. What a cute name! I love it. Oscar is only 12 weeks old, and full of life. I actually photographed Narina’s baby belly back in January this year – so it was really nice to go back and meet Geoff & Oscar. Poor Narina & Geoff, I swear it always happens! Children know when mum & dad so desparately want them to perform! lol After a bigger then normal sleep, Narina was so excited that Oscar would be his usual smiley self on the change table, but no matter what we did, he just didn’t want to give us those usual grins! His still as cute as a button, with those gorgeous big eyes. Enjoy ๐Ÿ™‚

RCR Laser

What an interesting afternoon!RCR Laser needed some current shots of their equipment & premises for advertising purposes. I really enjoyed this session, something totally different, and pretty interesting to watch! My favorite bit, being lifted up in the cage! Very cool ๐Ÿ™‚ haha

Atkinson Family get together

With parents in NSW, brother & family at the Sunshine Coast, it was really special to coordinate a family photographic session for mum Dorothy’s birthday – on Bruce & Selina’s property at Cedar Creek.
So special, I love doing session that are a gift.
It was a really nice and casual afternoon, so thanks guys, I hope you had fun. Little Jessica was so cute and we luckily got her to part with her little blue hat for a couple of shots in the bamboo. The rest of the time, it was glued on! haha

Oh yes, shameless plug – these guys operate their own business Design Stream – Print & Design Studio.
They are offering 1000 business cards, full colour front & free black & white on the back for ONLY $129!! You can email or call P. 07 3807 3461
Really nice quality too, love that cello stuff ๐Ÿ™‚

BAA – it’s Lunch time again

The Brisbane Advertising Association Lunch is always my favorite corporate event to cover, everyone just has such a ball! This lunch was no exception, with their annual Triva lunch, at Royal on the Park. Fun! Got some great expressions as people played the game! haha

Monday afternoon I met the talented Kasper Hauser for some portraits. Make sure you check out his beats, very very nice! Absolutely love what I have heard of his work and his a local Gold Coast artist – even better!!
He had a collection of cool locations and concepts, so we set off on an afternoon journey. It was interesting hearing his stories, and so much fun making someone elseโ€™s ideas happen.
I think we’ll be back to do more, can’t wait to hear the Album!!
Cheers ๐Ÿ™‚

Jane, Michael , James & William

Wow! I’m so so flattered when families track me down to come back to photograph them again, even after 4 years! How cool ๐Ÿ™‚
Was a bit of a funny morning. We decided to go to the Powerhouse, and silly me – having only been there on a Saturday in the afternoon for weddings, had a jaw dropping moment as I pulled into the round-about of the powerhouse to see stalls & people absolutely everywhere! Whops! Markets!!lol
We walked around a bit, having not much luck at all! The playground was the next option – which was all fenced off for maintenance. We then walked around looking for more locations, half of New Far park looks like a construction site, with the gorgeous trees all fenced off! Arghh! lol
After a few snaps at my favorite toilet block, lol, we went back to the main building and found an awesome spot tucked behind the stall holders to play & got some really gorgeous shots. Phew!
Actually, it was a fantastic morning! And great to stroll around and have a peep at the stalls after – couldn’t have been more perfect. Doing what I love โ€“ photography & markets afterwards. hehe
I can’t wait to show off these images to the Bakers, so so sooo cute – I love the boyโ€™s cute red hair, and cheeky grins. Thanks so much guys, and thanks for giving me your jumper to wear Michael, I felt like a dag pinching it, but man it was needed! Crisp winter air! lol
See you soon ๐Ÿ™‚

Collage Art

Hey, I just wanted to post this from the Watkins family session. Have us design your images into a gorgeous collage – to be displayed on canvas, framed or moder art mount.

I love this set!

Alexandra, Michael & baby Mia

Back again for more photographs ๐Ÿ˜‰ I got to photograph Alex’s belly back in February.. Was very nice, with some gorgeous results. This visit, I got to meet her husband Michale & precious new arrival Mia. Such a pretty name, and a pretty little thing. These guys are just so sweet together, it was really nice. And Michael even had a killer angle idea, which looked just awesome. I love it when people are exited about photography, and are keen to add in their own ideas.
The shots speak for themselves, precious. ๐Ÿ˜‰
